AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 165, Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, 1920.
BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Commissioners of salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION I. That Section 165, Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, 1920, be, and the same is, hereoy amended to read
as follows:
Section 165. MEAT AND OTHER FOOD PRODUCTS TO BE
COVERED. It shall be unlawful for any person, farm or
corporation to keep for sale, offer for sale, or display in-
side or outside any building any meat, meat food products,
or any other article of food intended for human consumption,
except citrus fruits, fruits or vegetables, the rind or skin of
which must be removed before eating, unless it be covered so
as to protect it from dust, dirt, flies and other forms of
contamination. Articles of food displayed outside of build-
ing must be kept on platforms not less than eighteen inches
high.
SECTION II. In the opinion of the Board of Commission-
ers, it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the in-
habitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance bec me effective
immediately.

publication.
