AN ORDINANCT, LF,VvIhC, A TAX ,and for the asses:Jment of
property in Liahting District No. 11, for the purpose of providing
for the installation of arc lamps.
T.e it ordained. by the Toard of Counissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah.
',.2,CTION I. '2hat the oard of Cbmmissioners of Salt Lake
City does hereby levy the tap: hoe provide for the aseessment of
the same ucon the prouperty hereinafter described in Lighting Dis-
trict Neill, for the purpose of providing for the installation of
arc lamps, to-wit:
In Lots 5 5 6 of C1X. 75 and Lots 5 ?,; 6, 7 and 8,
of tilk. 76, Flat "A", a,lt LeXe City gurvey, abutting on
the south side of South Temple Utreet from out -i‘eu)le Street
to State jtreet, in gait Lahee City.
This tax is levied to defray the expense of providing for
the installation of arc lamps (LuPid lamps to Sc forty-too (44 in
number; . seven D ( T) ornamental iron standards on each block in
said district, each standard to carry three inverted type ornamental
6.6 ampere luminous arc lamps), said lamps to be illuminated by
electric current; said standards to be approximately 110 feet apart,
and to be supplied with electric current for the illumination of the
same each night from fifteen minutes ])cfprc jar': until midnight,
five (5) looms in said district, however, to be lighted all night
(the cost of installation of the all night lamps being One Thousand
Seven Hundred eleven and 49/103±J,711.29) Dollars, and the same to

Review to the 3oard of Commissioners of Pelt Lake City arc hereby)

SECTION III. Said tax shall be payable in three equal
yearly installments as 'provided by law and ordinance. In the; overt
any installment is not paid on the day the same becomes due, the
