) An ordinance levying a tax and providing for the arse-snont of
the property hereinafter described on Tenth East Street from the
;;north side of Second South Street to the north side of Fifth South
(Street, in Paving District No. 27, for tOe purpose of providing for
'the grading, guttering and curbing,an1 paving thereof.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the City Council does hereby. levy the tax and
Ilprovide for the assessment of the same upon the property hereinafter •
'described in Paving District No: 27, for the purpose of providing for;
1;the grading, guttering and curbing, and paving o2 a portion of said
"district, to-wit:
In Lots 1 end 8, Block 43, end 1, 6, 7 and 3, Block 42, Plat
''"B", end in Lots 2, 3, 4 and 5, Block 28, and 4 and 5, Block 21, Platj
"F", abutting on both sides of Tenth East Street between Second South)
land Fourth South Streets.
This tax is levied to defray the expense of grading, guttering

cordance with the provisions of this ordinance for the pureose herein
mentioned:

6, 7 and 8, Block 42, Flat "B"; the west side of Lots 2, 3, 4 and
5, Block 28, and the west side of Lots 4 and 5, Block 21, Plat "F",
Salt take City Survey, as the same are shown upon the official plats

I, SECTIOP 2. Said tax shall become and be delinquent in ten equal!
�installments, as follows, to-wit: One-tenth thereof one year after
the approval of the ordinance confirming the levy of the tax for the
payment for such improvement; one-tenth thereof in two years after
!such approval; one-tenth thereof in three years after such approval;

one-tenth thereof in four years after such approval; one-tenth there-
of in five years after such approval; one-tenth thereof in six years
after such approval; one-tenth thereof in seven years after such ap-

! prove.l; one-tenth thereof in eight years after such approval; one-
tenth thereof in nine years after such approved; and one-tenth there
of in ten years after such approval. One or more of said in:.:tallinenta
jter the whole tax may be paid on or before ten days after the approval
of the ordinance confirming the levy of the tax. One or more in-
stallments, or the whole special tax may be paid on the dry any in-

delinquency, and eight (8) per cent per annum from delinquency until

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
