Green Neslen Scheid 44 Mr. Chairman Result AN ORDINANCE An ordinance amending Section 666 of Chapter 16 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1913, as amended by an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City July 31, 1918, relating to appointments of deputies, assistants and clerks in the office of the City Recorder of Salt Lake City, Utah. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Section 666 of Chapter 16 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1913, as amended by an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City July 31, 1918; relating to the appointment of deputies, assistants and clerks in the office of the City Recorder of Salt Lake City, Utah, be, and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows: SECTION 666. r:YPOIid 'IiSRiS. The Board of Commissioners may appoint in the officd of the City Recorder of Salt Lake City, the following • deputies, assistants and clerks, at salaries not to exceed the amounts named: One chief deputy recorder at a salary of 7.,920.00 per annum; In the absence of or during the disability of the City Recorder, the chief deputy recorder shall exercise all the -1- �I. functions and powers of the City Recorder. He shall give a bond to the City in the sum of : 1,000.00. One chief clerk, at il,620.00 per annum; Two deputy city recorders who shall act as deputy clerks of the City Court, each, 41,500.00 per annum; One deputy city recorder who shall act as deputy clerk �^- of the City Court, 41,440.00 per annum; Two deputy pity recorders Who shall act as deputy clerks of the City Court, each, 41,200.00 per annum. The Board of Commissioners may employ such clerks; stenographers and other employees as may be necessary for the proper conduct of said office, at such s<laries yes may , be designated by said Board. SECTION 2.
