perty in Sewer District T<o. 2 (Sewer Extension No. 388) for the -our-
pose of constructing a sewer.

SECTION I. That the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, does hereby levy the tam and provide for tie assessment of the
same upon the property hereinafter described in Sewer District ITo.
2 (Sewer Extension No. 388) for the purpose of constY'(Zeting a sewer,

Lots 9, 12, 13 and 14 of Block 5; Lots 1 to 5 incl_ ,
Block 2, Blythe Sub., Lots 1 to 5 incl. of Blocks 1 and 2 of Dan-
i owske Park Sub. of Block 5; Lots 2 to 13 incl. of Bloch 1,
and 1 and 14 to 24 incl. of Block 2, Rigby Place Sub.; Lots 23
to 34 incl. of Blocks 1 and 2 of South Salt Lake Sub. of Block
6; Lots 10 and 11 of Block 11; Lots 2 to 28 incl., Block 3, and
1 and 29 to 54 incl. of Block 4 of South Main St. Add., Plat A;
Lots 2 to 11 incl., Block 3 med 1 and 12 to 20 incl. of Block
4 of Gabbott's Add.; Lots 1 and 12 to 20 incl.,Block 3, Dieter

Andrew Avenue to 17th South, both sides of Richards Street from
13th South to Andrew Avenue, both sides of Major Street from
17th South to a point 287 feet south, both sides of 2nd East from
17th South to a point 862 feet south, both sides of Coatsville
Avenue, from 2nd to 3rd East, both sides of 21st South from West
Temple to Main Streets.
This tax is levied to defray the abutter's portion of
the expense of constructing a vitrified and concrete pipe sewer
from eight (8) inches in diameter to thirty-sin (36) inches in
diameter, including manholes, flush tanks and "Z" junctions, all
complete, upon the portions of said streets opposite the property
hereinbefore and hereinafter described to be especially affected
and benefited by said improvement and it is hereby adjudged,
determined and established that said property will be especially
benefited thereby to the full amount of the tam hereby levied
and said parcels of land are hereby assessed at a uniform rate
in accordance with the linear foot frontage upon said portions
of said streets fronting upon and to the entire depth of said
parcels of land back therefrom, and the tax hereby levied and to
be assessed upon said parcels of land is Twenty-one Thousand,
Seventy-six and 56/100,021,076.56) dollars; Three Thousand,
Seven Hundred Eighteen and 53/100 03,718.53) dollars or Three
and 76/100 ( 3.76) dollars per front or linear foot of abutting
property for full rate, there being 988.97 feet abutting said
improvement; Seventeen Thousand Three Hundred Fifty-eight and
03/100 017,358.03) dollars or Two and 17/100 42.17) dollars
per front or linear foot of abutting property for half rate,
there being 7999.09 feet abutting said improvement, which is
the total abutters' cost and cost per front foot of said sewers
according to the contract entered into for the performance of
said work and making said improvement with J. L. Griffith Co.
& W. H. Burnside, dated the 2d day of November, 1922, and the

SECTION II. That the assessment list made by the City
v Treasurer, as corrected, approved and completed by the Board of
Equalisation and. Review of the property described in Section I of
this ordinance in Sewer District No. 2 (Seale ' Extension No.388)
of Salt Lake City, for the purpose of constructing a sewer upon
said portions of said streets, is hereby confirmed, and the
assessments made and returned in said completed lists, and the
report of the Board of Equalization and Review to the Beard of
Commissioners of Salt Lake City, are hereby ratified, approved an.
confirmed.
SECTION III. Said tax shall be payable in five equal
yearly installments as provided by law and ordinance with interest
on the whole stun unpaid at the rate of six per cent Tar annum,
payable at the time each installment is due. In the event any
installment or the interest aforesaid is not paid on the day t1�
same becomes due, the whole amount of the special tax unpaid at
the time said installment and interest are due, shall become due
and payable, and shall draw interest at the rate of twelve per
cent per annum until the sale of the property assessed.
SECTION IV. This ordinance shall take effect one day
