AN ORDINANCE VACATING Brooks Avenue west from King
Street to U. S. Highway 40 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
i he it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Brooks Avenue west from King Street
, ' to U. S. Highway 40 in Salt Lake City, Utah, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 23, Block
4, Country Club Heights, a subdivision of part of the
NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 22, T. 1 S., B. 1 E.,
S. L. B. & M., thence N. 89° 45' W. 107.52 ft. to the
northerly line of U.S.Highway 40, thence along said
highway line N. 51° 02' 40'" W. 79.96 ft., thence S.
89 451 E. 169.71 ft. to the west line of King Street,
thence S. Ou 01' W. 50.0 ft. along said west line of
King Street to the place of beginning;
be and the same is hereby vacated and declared no longer to be
public property for use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian
way.
Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing
rights of way and easements of all public utilities of any and
every description now located in, on, under or over the confines
of the above described property and also subject to the right of
entry thereon for the purpose of inspecting, maintaining, repair-
ing, replacing, removing, altering or rerouting said utilities
and all of them.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health, and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its/
first publication. i i
