AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Sub-paragraph "(B)" and sub-
paragraph "(D)" of "Subsection 6" of Section 1382, Revised Ordi-
nances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1934, as amended by an ordinance
passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, on
October 25th, 1939, and designated as bill No. 38, as amended by an
ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah, on May 16th, 1940, and designated as bill No. 22, relating
to speed of vehicles upon the streets in Salt Lake City.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Sub-paragraph "(B)" and sub-paragraph
"(D)" of "Subsection 6" of Section 1382, Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah, 1934, as amended by an ordinance passed by the Board
of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, on October 25th, 1939, and
designated as bill No. 38, as amended by an ordinance passed by the
Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, on May 16th, 1940,
and designated as bill No. 22, relating to speed of vehicles upon
the streets in Salt Lake City, be and the same are hereby amended
as follows, to-wit:
By repealing and deleting from said sub-paragraph "(BP"
the third sentence which reads: "North Temple Street from a point
500 feet east of 23rd West Street west to a point 500 feet west of
23rd West Street."
By amending said sub-paragraph "(D)" so that it shall
read as follows:
(D),_FORTY-FIVE, MILES PER HOUR._

Beck Street from a point 500 feet north of its
intersection with Victory Road, thence north to the city limits.
North Temple from the Jordan River Bridge west to
the city limits.
Redwood Road from the Los Angeles & Salt Lake Rail-
road track at 9th South Street south to the city limits.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall take effect immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall, take effect at once upon
its first publication. �-
