AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE`AMOUNT OF LICENSE FEES TO BE
PAID BY DEALERS IN BOTTLED BEER, DOING BUSINESS WITHIN THE LIMITS
OF SALT LAKE CITY,
WHEREAS, the 21st Session of the.Legislature of the
State of Utah passed an Act known_as the Liquor Control Act creat-
ing a state liquor monopoly; and
WHEREAS, the said Act further provided that the City Com-
mission of cities.shall fix the license fees. for businesses located
within their respective jurisdictions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commission-
ers of Salt Lake City:
SECTION I. That the license fee for a dealer in bottled
beer shall be $25.00 per year for each establishment where bottled

beer is sold within the limits of Salt Lake City.
31 SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall take effect immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
