C7 tte"- /'///; INANCE Result AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3602 of the Revised ordi- nances or Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, as amended by an ordinance passed by the Board of commissioners on May 24, 1944, relating to licenses. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of bait Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Section 3602 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, as amended by an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners on May 24, 1944, relating to licenses, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "SEC. 3602. LICENSE ASSESSOR AND COLLECTOR. ArPUTATMENTS. Where is hereby created in the department of public affairs and finance the office of license assessor and collector. The board of commissioners may appoint the following officers and employees at not exceeding the salaries named: Per Annum. One license assessor and collector $2760.00 first Grade inspectors, each 2340.00 Second Grade Inspectors, each . . 1620.00 Third Grade Inspectors, each 1500.00 And such assistants, clerks or other employees as may be necessary for the proper conduct of the license department, at such salaries as the board may designate. The license assessor and collector shall give a bond bo the city in the sum of $10,000, conditioned upon the faithful performance of his duties and the proper accounting of all funds and money coming into his hands or under his control. The board of commissioners may require any employee of the license department to give bond in such amount as it may de- signate." �9 -2- SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of bait Lake City that this ordinance shall take effect immediately. SECTION 3.
