32 of 1902 - Ordinance 32 of 1902 – Sidewalk Extension No. 16. AN ORDINANCE. An ordhsamed levying a tax and for the assessment of property on the west side of "I" Street, from the north side of TIM HIM South Temple Street to the north side of Third Street, in Sidewalk District No. 24, for the con- struction of a sidewalk. Be it ordained by the Oity Comaoil of Salt Lake Oity, Dtsh; Section 1. That the Oity Council Both hereby levy the tax and pro- vide for the assessment upon the property hereinafter described abutting on the went side of "I" Street between South Temple Street and Third Street, in Sidewalk Fistriet No. 24. This tax is levied to defrarthd expense of constructing a sidewalk upon said portion of said streets opposite the property hereinafter described to be especially greeted and benefitted by said improvement; and it is hereby adjudged, daterained end established that the same will be espeoially benefitted thereby t ( the full amount of the tax hereby levied; and said parcels of land are hereby assessed st an equal and uniform rate in accordance with the linear foot frontage upon said portion of said streets, fronting upon and to a depth of twenty-five meet back therefrom; and the tax hereby levied and to be assessed upon said parcels of land is one thousand three hundred six and 80/100 dollars ($1,308.90 ) or one and 38/100 dollars ($132.) per linear front foot; sad the Treasurer is hereby authorised and empowered to assess, in aeoordance with the provisions of this ordinance, for the purpose herein mentioned, all of lots 1 and 4, block 8„ all of lots 1 and 4, block 23; all of lots 1 and 4, block 34, plat "B", Salt Lake City Survey, as the same are shown upon the official plat of said city to a depth of twenty-five feet back from said street. Section 2.
