AN ORDINANCE amending Section 666 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, 1913, as amended by an ordinanoe passed by the
Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, January 19, 1914, relating
to appointments of deputies, assistants and clerks in the office
of the City Recorder.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of Salt take
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 666 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, 1913, as amended by an ordinance passed by the
Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, January 19, 1914, relat-
ing to appointments of deputies, assistants and clerks in the
office of the City Recorder, be, and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows:
Section 666. Appointments, deputies, assistants, clerks.
There are hereby appointed in the office of the city recorder of
Salt Lake City, the following deputies, assistants and clerks:
One ohief deputy recorder at a salary of $1620. per annum;
In the absence of or during the disability of the pity
recorder, the chief deputy recorder shall exercise all the functions
and powers of the city recorder. He shall give a bond to the city
in the sum of $1,000.
One deputy recorder who shall act as olerk of the city
courts, at a salary not to exceed #1,320 per annum;
Two deputy recorders who shall act as clerks of the city
courts, at a salary not to exceed $1,200 eaoh per annum;
One deputy recorder who shall act as clerk of the city
courts, at a salary of $1,080 per annum;
One chief clerk at a sa],ery of $1,440 per annum;
One clerk at a salary of 01,200 per annum;
One stenographer for the recorder's office, at salary
not to exceed 4900. per annum.
Two clerks for the criminal division of the city court,
at a salary of 01,020 each per annum.
All of which salaries shall be paid monthly as are the
salaries of other officers and employees of the city.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and resolutions and parts of
ordinances and resolutions in conflict with this ordinance, are
hereby repealed tot the extent of such conflict.
