B. 1/4 of Section 21, T. 1 S. , r. 1 P. , S. L. 1 ,. & M. , more particularly described as follows: Leginning at the N. R. Cor. of Lot 14, P1k. 5, Idlewild y,1 Add. , a subdivision of part of the N.P. 1/4 of Sec. 21, T. 1 S. P. 1 S. L. B. & M. , thence south 129. 58 ft. , thence Pest 117.6 ft. , thence south 18.0 ft. , thence east 117.6 ft. , thence south 83.9 ft. , thence vast 135.57 ft. , thence North 18.0 ft. , thence west 117.6 ft. , thence north 213.49 ft. , thence Lest 17.97 ft. to the place of beginning. be and the sameare hereby vacated and declared no longer to be public property for use as streets, avenues, alleys or pedestrian ways. Said vacation is made expressly subject to the rights of way and easements of the Utah Light &: Traction Company and the Moun- tain States 'Telephone Rc Telegraph Company acouireo under franchises from Salt Lake City to maintain, repair, alter and replace the electric transmission, distribution of telegraph and telephone circuits, lines, mires and poles of said companies, together with the necessary stop cross-arms and other attachments thereon or affixed thereto for the support of said electric telephone and telegraph lines, wires and dis- tribution circuits as now erected and maintained upon or across the portion of said alleys to be closed, during the life of the franchises held by said companies, or any extensions thereof. SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effecbive immed.i_ately.
