AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1517 of the Revised Ordi-
nances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1934, relating to weights and
measures and oil inspection.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 1517 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1934, relating to weights and measures and
oil inspection, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SEC. 1517. SALARIES. The salary of the city sealer of
weights and measures and oil inspection shall be $p2400.00 per
annum, payable monthly, and the salary of the assistant to the
sealer of weights and measures and oil inspection shall be
$$1800.00 per annum, payable monthly. The salaries of such
other persons as may be employed to assist the sealer of
weights and measures and oil inspection shall be fixed by the
board of commissioners."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall take effect immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commis Toners of Salt Lake City,
Utah, this q /A- day of 7, A.D. 1942.
