Granting a Franchise to the Oregon Short Line Railroad
Company, a corporation:
BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: 1
SECTION 1: That the Oregon Short Line Railroad Company, a
corporation, be and the same hereby is given a franchise and
granted permission for a period of one hundred years to lay and
maintain a single spur track across Fifth North Street, bet-
ween Third and Fourth West Streets, connecting with the west
twenty one and one-fourth (21-1/4) rods of Block One Hundred
thirty seven (137), Plat "A", Salt Lake City Survey, in
Salt Lake City, Utah. All laws and ordinances now in force
concerning or pertaining to tracks and railroads, and such
other laws and ordinances as may hereafter be passed shall
properly apply to said track.
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall take effect upon approval
by the Mayor.
PASSED by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, April
17th 1906, and referred to the Mayor for his approval.
