Result An ordinance levyingtax end for the assessment of property on the south ride of Second South Street between Second East and Third East Streets, in Sidewelk District No. 4, for the construc- tion of a cement sidewalk- Be it ordained by the Doerd of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. Thrt the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City does hereby levy the tax and rovid_e for the assessment of the sane upon the property hereinafter described in Sidewalk District No. 4, for the construction of a cement sidewalk, to-nit: In Lots 5 end 6, Block 55, Plat "A", Salt Lake City. Survey, abutting on. the south. side of Second South Street bet;,een Second East and Third hast Streets. This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing in cement sidewalk six (6) feet wide and four (4) inches thick upon the portion of said street opposite the -property hereinbefore and hereinafter described to be especially affected end benefited by said improvement, and. it is hereby adjudged, determined and estab- lished that said property will be especially benefited thereby to the full amount of the tax hereby levied, and said parcels of land are hereby assessed et. en ec,uel end uniform rate in accordance with the linear foot frontage upon said. _ortions of said street, fronting upon and to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back there- from, and the tax hereby levied and to be assessed upon said par- cels of land is three hundred forty-seven and 49/100 ( 347.49) dollars, or 646/1000 ( 0.648) dollars Per front or linear foot of xxit abutting property, there being 536.25 feet of abutting prop- erty within the boundaries of the lots, blocks and streets above mentioned. in said district, which is the total cost and cost per front foot of said sidewalk, according to the contract entered into for the _sorforal-nee of said worn: and making said ic-orovement, with J. SECTION 2. One or more of said installments, in the order in which they are pryable, or the whole special tax, may be paid of any time within thirty clays after the ordinance confirming the levy of the tax becomes effective, without interest.
