Result AN ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 1570, of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, 1920, as amended by an ordinance
passed February 10, 1921, relating to public billiard or pool
halls.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 1570 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, 1920, as amended Feb. 10, 1921, be and the
same is hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 1570. It shall be unlawful for the owner,
keeper, manager of, or employee in, any public billiard
hall or pool hall in Salt Lake City, to allow or permit
such billiard hall or pool hall to be or remain &pen for
business between the hours of twelve o'clock P. M. of any
o'c1t ock
day and eight/A. M. of the following day.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall become effective im-
mediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
publication.
