AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 20-29-18(g) of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, as enacted by Bill No. 25
of 1967, relating to prohibited hours for consumption of beer and
liquor in non-profit clubs.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 20-29-18(g) of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, as enacted by Bill No. 25 of 1967,
relating to prohibited hours for consumption of beer and liquor in non-
profit clubs be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 20-29-18. * * *
"(g) Serve or mix beer or liquor on or at the premises
or facilities or permit any persons to consume beer or
liquor on the premises and facilities between the hours
of one a.m. (or two a.m. daylight savings time when day-
light savings time is in force and effect by law in Salt
Lake City, Utah) and seven a.m. of any day, except when
New Year's Day falls on Monday in which case the foregoing
may be permitted until three a.m."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is
necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt
Lake City, Utah, that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah
this 13th day of June, 1967.
