AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 51-7-233 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to roof signs.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:

SECTION 1. That Section 51-7-233 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah, 1965,, 'relating to roof signs, be, and the same hereby is
amended as follows:
Sec. 51-7-283. Roof:Sign. Roof sign shall mean a sign erected
partly or wholly on or over the roof of a building, including
ground signs -phat rest dh or overlap the roof twelve inches (12")
or more.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect 30 days after its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
17th day of March, 1976.
