AN ORDINANCE LEVYING THE TAX AND FOR THE ASSESSMENT OF THE PRO4
PEATY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OP SECOND SOUTH STREET FROM FIRST WEPT STREET TO
A POINT MIDWAY BETWEEN SECOND AND THIRD WEST STREETS, AND ON THE NORTH
SIDE OF SECOND S OU:.'H STREET FROM SECOND TO THIRD VJF.ST STREETS, WITHIN
SEWER DISTRICT No. ip; ALSO ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF SECOND SOUTH STREET
FROM A POINT MIDWAY BETWEEN SECOND AND THIRD MUM WEST STREETS TO THIRD
WEFT STREET IN FEWER DISTRICT No. ", FOR THE PURPOSE OP LAYING SEWERS
ALONG SAID PORTIONS OF SAID STREETS.
Sec. 1. Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City,
that said City Coucil doth hereby levy the tax and provide for the
assessment upon the following blocks, lots and parcels of land hereinaf-
ter described, abutting on the south side of Second South Street from a
First West Street to a point midway between Second and Third West Streets
and on the North side of Second eolith Street from Second to Third West
Street, within sewer District No. lt' Also on south side of Second South
street from a point midway between Second and Third West Streets to Thiri
West Street within Sewer District Ho': 2. Salt Lake City .
This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing sewers

on said portions of said streets opposite the blocks, lots and parcels of
land hereinafter described to be especially affected and benefitted by
said improvements', and it is hereby adjudged, determined and established
that the same will be especially affected and benefitted by said improve-
ments, and said blocks, lots and parcels of land abutting upon said por-
tions of said streetsnherein described as being within sewer District No.
1 are hereby assessed at an equal and uniform rate in accordance with the
linear foot frontage upon those portions of said streets to he improved
within F'ewer District No. 1, fronting on said -portions of said streets
and of a depth of 25 feet back from said streets, and the tax hereby '
levied and to be assessed upon said blocks, lots and parcels of land
abutting upon said portions of said streets within Sewer District No. 1,
As $2,145.00 or $1.30 per front foot, and the City Treasurer is hereby
authorized to assess in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance
and for the purposes herein::entioned, all of Lots 5, 6, 7, and 8, Block
60, all of Lot 6, Block 61, all of Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, Block 66, Plat "Q"
