ANes as ORDINANCE An ordinance levying a tax and for the assessment of property on the north side of Second South Street from Tenth East Street to is Eleventh East Street, and on the south side of Second South Street I from Eighth East Street to Eleventh East Street, in Sidewalk Dis trict No. 4, for the construction of a cement sidewalk. III Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That the City Council does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment of the sane upon the property hereinafter described in Lots 5, 6, 7 and 8, Block 43; Lots 5 and 6, Block 44, Plat "T"; Tots Sand 6, Block• 8 Lot 1, Block 29; the east 132 feet �p !'I of Lot 2, Block 2941.ot /erg-A�, Block 29, Plat "F", Salt Lake City Survey, abutting on the north side of Second South Street from Tenth Ea t Street to Eleventh. East Street, and on the south side of Second,. South Street from Ei, ith East Street to Eleventh East Street, in Sidewalk District So. 4, said property having a frontage of 2,574 feet along said street. This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing a II cement sidewalk N-a (6) feet wide and four (4) inches thick open said portions of said street opposite the property hereinafter des- I criiaed to be especially affected and benefited by said improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, determined and established that the same will be especially benefited thereby to the full amount of the tax hereby levied, and said parcels of land. are hereby assessed at an equal and uniform rate in accordance with the linear foot frontage upon said portions of said street fronting upon and to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back therefrom, and the tax hereby levied and to be assessed uponsaid parcels of land is two thousand two hundred', and sixty-five and twelve hundredths ( 2,265.12) dollars, or eirrhty eight hundredths P0.^8) dollars per front or linear foot, vr-1ich is the estimated total cost and estimated cost per linear footgofSs id sidewalk, and the Treasurer is hei.eby authorized and directed,- „. Said tax shall become and be delinquent..as folios: One-thir thereof shall become delinquent in one month after the approval f thie levy; one-third in two months after said appro- �! val, and one-whirc34n three months after said approval.
