Co., spur track across 8th South and west half of 3rd AN ORDINANCE: Granting a Franchise to the Oregon Short Line Railroad Company, a corporation: BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1: That the Oregon Short Line Railroad Company, a corporation, be and the same hereby is given a franchise and granted permission for a period of one hundred years to lay and maintain a single spur track across Eighth Soith Street and the west half of Third West Street, connecting with Lot 1, Block Eleven (11), Plat A, Salt Lake City Survey, in Salt Lake City, Utah. All laws and ordinances now in force concerning or pertaining to tracks and railroads, and such other laws and ordinances as may hereafter be passed shall properly apply to said track. SECTION 2: This ordinance shall take effect upon approval by the Mayor. PASSED by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, March 1906, and referred to the Mayor for his approval. City Recorder.
