An ordinance levying a tax and for the assessment
o property on Redondo Avenue between Sixth East and Seventh
E st Streets, in Sewer District No. 1 (Sewer Extension No.
3 9), for the construction of sewers.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION I. That the Board of Commissioners of Salt
L ke City does hereby levy the tax and provide for the
a sessment of the same upon the property hereinafter described
i Sewer District No. 1 (Sewer Extension Po. 389) for the
c nstruction of sewers, to-wit:
In Lots .0 to 17, inclusive of Block 1, Lots 1, 4 to
Plat A,
1 ,incluaive, of Block 2, Toronto Subdivision, Block 3,
F ye Acre Plat A, Big Field Survey, abutting on Redondo
A enue between Sixth East and Seventh East Streets, and to
a depth of fifty (50) feet hack fran said street, and all
w thin the district bounded on the north by Hollywood
A enue, on the east by Seventh East Street, on the south
b., Twenty-first South Street, and on the west by Sixth
E; st Street.
This tax is levied to defray the expense of can-
s ', noting vitrified pipe sewer eight (8) inches in
d ameter upon the portions of said. street opposite the

prcfeerty hereinbefore and hereinafter described to be especially
e,fiI-oted and benefited by said improvement, and it is hereby
ad4 dged, determined and established that said property will be
esil-cially benefited thereby to the full amount of the tax
herby levied, and said parcels of land are hereby assessed at
an =qual and uniform rate,in accordance with the linear foot
fro tage upon said portions of said streets fronting upon and
to = depth of fifty (50) feet back therefrom, and the tax
her-by levied and to be assessed upon said parcels of land is

SECTION II. Sa d tax shall become and be delinquent
five equal yearly installments, with interest on the whole

sum unpaid at the rate of six par cent per annum, payable at
