Plat 'Bt, a subdivision of part of Block 46, 10-Acre Plat u]S ,
Big Field Survey.
i5e it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION I. That alley in block 2 of Highland Park Plat
tit, a subdivision of part of Block 46, 10-Acre Plat nkfl, Big Field
Survey, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the 6.E. Corner of Lot 34, block
2, Highland Park Plat 'Bt, a subdivision of part
- of lilock 46, 10-acre Plat 'At, Big Field Survey;
( thence west along the south side of Lots 34 to
49 inclusive 389.11 feet, to the easterly line
of the Jordan & Slt Lake City Canal right of
way, thence 33° 081 E., along said right of
way line 14.35 feet, thence east along the north
side of Lots 15 to 26 inclusive 380.31 feet,
thence north 6.0 feet, thence East 0.97 feet,
thence north 6.0 feet to the place of beginning;
be and the same is hereby vacated and declared no longer to be public
property for use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian way.
Said vacation is made expressly subject to the rights of
3 way and easements of the Utah Light & Traction Company and the Moun-
tain States Telephone & Telegraph Company acquired under franchises
from Salt Lake City to maintain, repair, alter and replace the elec-
tric transmission, distribution of telegraph and telephone circuits,
lines, wires and poles of said companies, together with the necessary
stop cross-arms and other attachments thereon or affixed thereto for
the support of said electric telephone and telegraph lines, wires
dnd distribution circuits as now erected and maintained upon or across
the portion of said street to be closed, during the life of the fran-
chises held by said companies, or any extensions thereof.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,

it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall take effect immediate-
ly.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shah take effect upon its
first publication.
