AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 19-1-10 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, as heretofore amended, relating to
regulations governing the sale of beer, by adding to said section a
new paragraph (9) making it unlawful to allow intoxicated persons to
remain on the premises where beer is sold.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1 . That Section 19-1-10 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, as heretofore amended, relating to regula-
tions governing the sale of beer, be, and the same hereby is, amended
by adding thereto a new paragraph (9) relating to persons who allow
intoxicated individuals to remain on premises where beer is sold,
said paragraph (9) to read as follows:
"(9). IL shall be unlawful for any licensee or employee
thereof to allow intoxicated persons to remain in or about any
premises where beer is sold."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it is
necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt
Lake City that this ordinance shall become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
xi publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
7th May
day of tiapKAA, 1959.
