AN ORDINANCE .
.,„. An*dinance providing for the issuance of special tax warrants
in; lieu of scrip against special tax funds, and for other purposes.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. It shall be lawful for the City Auditor to issue to ,
the bona,fS�de`:holder of any ,a'crip agaiAst any speoia tax fund of
Salt Lake City, on surtanderOf such s ip, by such,hblder thereof,
a special ta$ warrant;, or warrants, of Cae4wmomina ion provi-ded by
lava, for, the aggregate e:Mouht value of the-$orip so:"snrr8ndered; and
a
the Auditor "on issuing such,warrant or warrants, shell denote '1i�
driting 'On the-"bank t'ii�x.eof", the, scrip number", and the amcunt due on
such Scrip;;And prove e& futther; that in any oase, '?wh'ere warrants
hAwa .been heretofore i'ssueie.$ainst any such special tax fund, with-
out/authori;ty of statute or ordinance in that behalf, such warrants '
may on surrender thereof, by any bona fide holder of the same, be
exchanged in like manner as scrip, for such special tax warrants.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
