AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Sec. 31-11-17 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to Operating Engineers' and Firemen's Licenses.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Sec. 31-11-17 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake
City, Utah, 1965, relating to Operating Engineers' and Firemen's Licenses,
be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 31-11-17. Fees for examination and license. The fee for
engineer's or fireman's examination shall be as follows:
Chief engineer's examination $10.00 `!
First class engineer's examination 5.00 U`
Second class engineer's examination 5.00
Fireman's examination - high pressure 5.00
Fireman's examination - low pressure 5.00
Renewal of license on or before the
expiration date 3.00
Renewal of license after expiration
date 10.00
All fees shall be paid to the city treasurer, who shall issue a
receipt to each person upon payment of the required fee."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, it is necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of
Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
