36 of 1901 - Ordinance 36 of 1901 – Sewer Extension No. 58. ii • Bill No. . for An ordinance levying a tax and for the assessment of property on the west side of Third East Street from Second South to Third South • Streets in Sewer District No. 1, for the construction of sewer. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH. Section 1. That said City Council doth hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment upon the property hereinafter described, abutting on the west side of Third East Street between Second South and • Third South S`'reetc, within Omer District No. 1. This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing a sewer upon raid portion' of said street, opposite yhe property hereinafter . described, to ba especially affected;and benefitted by said improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, determined and established that the same will be especially benefitted. thereby to the full amount of the tax hereby • levied, and said somas Of land are hereby assessed at an equal and uniform rate in accordance with the linear foot frontage upon said portion of said street, fronting upon and of a depth of twenty-five last back therefrom, and the tax hereby levied and to be assessed upon said parcels of land is Seven Hundred Ninety-three Dollars or $1.30 per l front foot, and the Treasurer is hereby authorized and empowered to assess in accordance with the provisions Of this ordinance, for the pur- pose herein mentioned, the North 140 feet of Lot 1, the south 140 feet of lot 6, all of lots 7 and 8, Block 55, Plat "A" Salt Lake City Survey, as the seam are shown upon the official plat of sai5 City, to a depth of twenty-five feet back from said street.
