Board: of Commissioners January 26th, 1920.
Be it enacted by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
Section 1. what Section 918x4, Revised Ordinances of
Salt 9 ake City, 1913, as amended by an ordinance passed by the
Board of Commissioners January 26, 1920, be and the same is hereby
amend d to read as follows:
Section 918x4. The Board of Commissioners may employ the
following officers, clerks and employes in the Department of Parks
and Piblio Property, at salaries not to exceed the following, to-wit:
One Assistant Superintendent of Parks and Public Property,
at a salary of not to exceed $1800.00 per annum.
It shall be the duty of the Assistant Superintendent of
Parka and Public Property to assist the Superintendent of Parks and
Public Property in the supervision of the work, care, maintenance,
improvement and beautifying of the parks in Salt Lake City not under
the gontrol, care and supervision of some other officer;
To act as florist at Liberty Park;
And to do and perform such other services as shall be re-
quir:d of him by the Commissioner of Parks and Public Property.

Such supervisors of play grounds and at such salaries and

an for such terms as the Board of Commissioners may determine.
Such other employes and laborers as may be necessary;
and may furnish and provide such equipment as may be necessary
for the proper care, maintenance, improvement and beautification;
of ! he parks and public property of the city.
Section II. In the opinion of the Board. of Commission-
ers it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the:city
th this ordinance become effective immediately.
Section III. This ordinance shall take effect upon
it publication.
