Result AN ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 1929 of the Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, passed by the Board of Commissioners on the
29th day of December, 1921, and also on the 10th day of January,
1922, and amending Chapter 60 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah, 1920, with relation to traffic and travel on the
streets, by adding in and to said chapter a new section to be known
as Section 1895X1.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION I. That Section 1929 of the Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah, as passed by the Board of Commissioners on the
29th day of December, 1921, and on the 10th day of January, 1922,
be, and the same is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. That Chapter 60 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1920, with relation to traffic and travel on
the streets, be and the same is hereby amended by adding in and to
said chapter a new Section to be known as Section 1895X1, to read
as follows:
SEC. 1895X1. It shall be unlawful for any person to
drive or propel, or cause to be driven or propelled, any vehicle,
or street or inter-urban car so as to break the consecutive line
of .march or line of travel of any funeral procession upon any
of the streets in Salt Lake City.
SECTION 3. Any person violating the provision of this ordi-
nance shall be punished as provided in Section 7, Revised Ordinances

SECTION 4. In.the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
lit is necessary
to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
;that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
publication.
