Section 1. That Said City Council doth hereby levy the tax and
provide for the assessment upon the property hereinafter described abut-
ting on P Street between South Temple end First 'streets and on First
Street 220 feet east of P Street.
This tax is levied to defray-the expense of constructing a sewer
upon said portions of said streets, opposite the property hereinafter
described, to be especially affected and benefittod by skfrd improvement,
and it is hereby adjudged, determined and estabished that the same will `
be especially benetitted thereby to the full amount of the tax hereby
levied, and said parties of land are hereby assessed at an equal and tni-

form rate in accordance with the linear foot frontage Dien said portions
of said streets,: fronting upon and of a depth of twenty-five feet back
therefrom, and the tax hereby levied and to be aseese d upon said parcels
of land is Fire Hundred Twenty-one an40/100 Dollars or, $!.'/O per
front foot, and the Treasurer to hereby author-teed and empowered, to
assess in aceordenee with the previa-tone of this Ordinaries), for the
purpose herein mentioned,' to a depth of E5 feet back from said street:;
all of Lot 3, the east 140 feet of set 8, the west 55 Abet of lot 44,
Block t; all of Lot 4, Block 0; all of Lott and the west 55 feet of
lot 1, Block 21; Plat D. Salt Lake City Survey, as the same are shown
upon the official plat of said City. 7
