That all that part of Post street and all alleys and w,aysin Block 1 of Butte Subidivision of Block 17 and part of Block 16, Plat 'L' Salt Lakedity Survey, lying north of the south boundary line of lot 58 in said Block No. 1 of Butte Subdivision, be and the same hereby are vacated and declared no longer to be public alleys, streets or ways. Spearmaniivitati14 E 11.4 WellsV Mr.Chairman Result AN ORDINANCE An ordinance amending Sections 918x1 and 918x7 of an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, July 1, 1913, in regard to the appointment and compensation of Superintendent of Parks, and employes. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah. SECTION 1. That Section 918x1 of an r dinance passed by the board of commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, July 1, 1913, be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows: Sec. 918x1. The board of commissioners of Salt Lake City may appoint a competent and experienced landscape gardner super- intendent of Parks and Public Property, at a salary of twenty- one hundred 44*2,100) dollars per year, to be paid monthly as are the salaries of other City officers. SECTION 2. That Section 918x7 Of the above mentioned ordinance, be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows: Sec. 918x7. The board of commissioners may employ the following employes in that part of said joint city and county building owned and controlled by Salt Lake City, towit: One elevator operator at dollars per month; five janitors at sixty dollars per month each, and such other employes, and at such wages as said board shall deem necessary to the proper care and maintenance of said building; and in connection with Salt Lake County, employ one night watchman for the inside of said building, one nightwatchman for the outside of said building and the grounds surrounding the same; one engineer and one assistant engineer, and such other firemen as said board and said county may determine, and pay said employes such wages as shall be agreed upon by said board and said.
