AN ORDINANCE AP✓IEUDING CHAPTER 60, Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, 1920, with relation to traffic and travel on streets,
by adding in and to said chapter a new section to be known as Sec-
tion 1929.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION I. That Chapter 60, Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, 1920, relating to traffic and travel on streets be, and
the same is hereby amended by adding in and to said chapter a new
section to be known as Section 1929, which shall read as follows:
SEC. 1929. It shall be unlawful for any person who
shall have been convicted in any court of having operated any
motor driven vehicle while under the influence of any intoxi-
cating drink, narcotics, or exhilarating drug, or who shall have
been twice convicted of reckless driving while operating any
motor driven vehicle on any public street or alley within Salt
Lake City to again operate a motor driven vehicle within said
city for a period of six months and any such person is hereby
declared to be a public nuisance.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
