AN ORDINANCE VACATINf,.an alley running east and west between
17th East and Imperial Street,; south of Stratford Avenue, all abutting
property owners having ?etition$d for the vacation.
Be it ordained by the'Board 'of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That the alley running east and west between 17th
East and Imperial Street, south_of Stratford Avenue, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 2063 Highland
Park Plat 'At, a subdivision of part of Section 21,
T.1 S., R.1 E., S.L.B.&Ni., running thence west 250.9
feet; thence North 12 feet to the southwest corner of
Lot 2053, said subdivision; thence East 250.9 feet;
thence South 12 feet to point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby vacated and declared no longer to be public
property for use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian way.
Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing rights-
of way and easements of all public utilities of any and every description
now located in, on, under or over the confine of the above described property;
and also subject to the rights of entry thereon for the purpose of inspecting,
maintaining, repairing, replacing, removing, altering or rerouting said
utilities and all of them.
SECTION 2. In the opinion 6f the Board of Commissioners, it is
necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake
City that this ordinance beoome effective immediately; therefore, this
ordinance shall take effect upon its first publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
