WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, on the 23rd day of April, 1964, conducted a public hearing upon the question of the vacation of the portion of llth East Street here- inafter described and at such hearing heard from all interested parties on such question; and, WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners is satisfied that there is good cause for such vacation; that such vacation will not be detrimental to the general interest and that it should be made. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That that portion of llth East Street, hereinafter more particularly described, be, and the same hereby is, vacated and declared no longer to be public property for use as a street, alley, avenue or pedestrian way: Beginning at a point North 0'14'48" East, 52.00 feet from the Northeast corner of Lot 14, Block 45, Ten Acre Plat "A", Big Field Survey, said point being also on the east line of said Block 45; and running thence North 82° 16'43" East 66.59 feet; thence South 0'14'48" West, 435.99 feet; thence North 89'43' West, 66.00 feet; thence North 0°14'48" East 426.72 feet to the point of beginning. Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing rights of way of any and every description now located in, on, under or over the confines of the above described property; and also subject to the rights of entry thereon for the purpose of inspecting, main- taining, repairing, replacing, removing, altering or rerouting said .rA -2- utilities and all of them. SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City, Utah that this ordinance become effective immediately. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first publication.
