AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 25-2-3/of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to the office of City
Chemist.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
(1)
SECTION 1. That Section 25-2-3/of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to the offices in the Department
of Streets and Public Improvements, be, and the same hereby is,
amended by deleting therefrom the office of City Chemist, to read
as follows:
"(1) City engineer's office
(a) City engineer
(b) Assistant city engineer
(c) Chief building inspector
(d) Chief plumbing inspector
(e) Chief electrical inspector
(f) Traffic engineer."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is
necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt
Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 27th day of June, 1967.
