AN ORDINANCE R1OVIDING QUARANTINE RULES IN SALT LAICE CITY.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah,
Sec. 1. That the following quarantine rules are hereby adopted
and declared to be in force within the City of Salt Lake:
Kula. VIT!. No Laundry will be permitted to take from a house within
the city limits, in which there is existing a case of cdntagioas or
infections disease, any material or articles for the purpose of washing
or cleaning, without permission of the Health Commissioner or Board of
Health.
(Approved by Board of Health,Sept.30th, Ia97.)
Sec. 2. Any person who violates any of the foregoing rules
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be liable to improsonment in
the City jail not exceeding ninety days, or to a fine not less than five
dollars, nor more than one hundred dollars , or to both such fine and
imprisonment.
Sec. 3. This ordinance shall be in force from and after its
approval.
