Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah: rr��,�
SECTION I. 'That^"alley running east from 13th East
Street between Bryan and Logan Avenues in Lot 3, Block 11, 5-Acre
Plat OOCtt, Big Field Survey, Salt Lake City, Utah, and more par-
- ticularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 7, Pearlts
Subdivision of part of Lot 3, Block 11, 5-Acre Plat +'Cap
Big Field Survey; thence north 12.1 ft., thence east
150.0 ft., thence south 12.1 ft., thence west 150.0 ft.
to place of beginning:
be and. the same is hereby vacated and declared no longer public
property as an alley or way. Said vacation is made expressly
subject to the rights of way and easements of the Utah Light and
Traction Company and the Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph
Company acquired under franchises from Salt Lake City, to maintain,
• repair, alter and/or replace the electric transmission, distribu-
tion of telegraph and telephone circuits, lines, wires and poles
• 38 of said comanies, together with the necessary stop, cross-arms
and other attachments thereon or affixed thereto for the support
of said electric telephone and telegraph lines, wires and distribu-
tion circuits as now erected and maintained upon the alley or way
to be closed, during the life of the franchises held by said com-
pany, or any extensions thereof.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health and. safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this �ordinance shall take effect immediately.
. ETCTION 3. ihis ordinance shall take effect upon its
first publication.
