N'ECTIOO I. That the Board of Commissioners of Galt Lake City'
does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment of the same
upon the property hereinafter described in lighting district No. 1O-:A,
for the purpose of providing for the operation, maintenance and. patrol-
ling of incandescent lamps and the furnishing of electrical. energy
therefor, to-wit:
Lots A to 14 and Lot 17, of lak. f ; Lots V to 11
incl. of Flk. 7, and Lots 1" to Cl incl. of Plk. 10, Main
Etreet, Cubdivisihn of Llk. f; ti-here Plat rp t, Big Field ;ur-
vey; abutting on Main u,treet from 0th Couth_ ; treet to Aarvnrd
Avenue on the east side and to Tremont (..venue on the west side,

This tot :is. levied to defray the expense of providing for
the operation, maintenance and patrolling of incandescent lamps (laid
lamps to he sixty-four (C4.) in number; thirty-two (Zo) tubular steel
poles, each eouipped with adouble-arm ornamental. bracket and two
1500 incandescent lamps)-, said lamps to be illuminated by electric
current; fifty-seven (57) of said incsnc c scent lamps to be supplied
with electr ,c current fe:- the illumination of the same each night
from fifteen minuto s. before dark until.1. midnight, and the remaining
seven (7) lamps in said district, however, to be lighted all night
(the cost of operation of tab all night lamps being, Two Thousand,
