AN ORDINANCE VACATING certain streets and alleys in
Blocks 5 and 6, Highland Park Addition, a subdivision of Sections
2 and 3, T. 1 S., R. 1 W., S. L. B. & M., in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt

SECTION I. That certain streets and alleys in Blocks 5
? and 6, Highland Park Addition, a subdivision of Sections 2 and 3,
ti T. 1 S., R. 1 W., S. L. B. & M., in Salt Lake City, Utah, more
particularly described as follows:

Streets to be vacated:
1st South Street from the vest boundary line of Lot
56, Block 5, to the vest line of Lot 1, Block 6, (Highland
Park Addition).
Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 56, Block 5,
Highland Park Addition, a subdivision of Sections 2 and 3,
T. 1 S., R. 1 W., S. L. B. & M., thence west 489 ft., thence
north 80 ft., thence east 489 ft., thence south 80 ft. to
the place of beginning.
12th West Street from the south boundary line of 1st
South Street to the south boundary line of Lot 24, Block 5,
(Highland Park Addition).
Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 5,
07 Highland Park Addition, a subdivision of Sections 2 and 3,
T. 1 S., R. 1 W., S. L. B. & M., thence south 612 ft., thence
west 60 ft., thence north 612 ft., thence east 60 ft. to the
place of beginning.
Alleys to be vacated:
Alley in Block 5 from the south side of 1st South Street
to the south line of Lot 33, in Block 5, (Highland Park Ad-
dition).
Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 56, Block 5,
Highland Park Addition, a subdivision of Sections 2 and 3, T.
1 S., H. 1 W., S. L. B. & M., thence south 612 ft., thence
west 12 ft., thence north 612 ft., thence east 12 ft. to the
place of beginning.
Alley in Block 6 from the south side of 1st South Street
to the south line of Lot 24 in Block 6, (Highland Park Addi-

Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 56, Block 6,
Highland Park Addition, a subdivision of Sections 2 and 3,
T. 1 S., R. 1 W., S. L. B. & M., thence south 612 ft.,
thence west 12 ft., thence north 612 ft., thence east 12
ft. to the place of beginning;
be and the same are hereby vacated and declared no longer to be
public property for use as streets, avenues, alleys or pedestrian
ways.
Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing
rights of way and easements of all public utilities of any and
every description now located on, 1n, under or over the confines
of the above described property and also subject to the right of
entry thereon for -the purpose of inspecting, maintaining, repairing,
replacing, removing, alter .ng or rerouting Said utilities and all
of them. '

SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, '
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
first publication.
