L AN ORDINANCE . 4,n ordinance amending and re-enacting Section 288 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1903, as amended by an ordinance passed by the City Council November 16, 1908, and approved by the Mayor November 17, 1908. Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Section 288 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1903, as amended by an ordinance passed by the City Council November 16, 1908, and approved by the Mayor November 17, 1908, be, and the same is hereby amended and re-enacted so as to rea ' as follows: 288. BOARD OF HEALTH. APPOIN?TPrENT. COMPENSATION. The Mayor shall, by and with the advice and consent of the Council, appoint, during the term for which he is elected, a board health, consisting of a Health Commissioner, an Assistant Health Commissioner, each of whom shall be a graduate of a reputable medical college, and two citizens. Tho Mayor shall be ex-officio chairman of the board. The compensation of each member of the Board of Health (exclusive of the Mayor, Health Commissioner and Assistant Health Commissioner) is hereby fixed at five ( 5.00) dollars for each meeting attended. The Health Commis- sioner shall receive as compensation, in full for all servioes rendered the City, a salary of twelve hundred (�i`'1200.00) dollar per annum, payable monthly as are the salaries of other city officers. The Mayor shall also, by and with the advice and consent o •the Council, appoint, during the term for which he is elected, one Assistant Health Commissioner, who shall be a graduate of a reputable medical college, and who shall do such acts and per- form such duties pertaining to the Health Department of the City as may be delegated-to, and required of him by the Health Commissioner according to law; and who shall receive as compen- /-. II III _2_ sation, in full for all services rendered the City, a salary of twelve hundred ( 1200.0O) dollars per snnumi payable monthly as are the salaries of other officers. SECTIOE 2. All ordinances and resolutions or parts of ordinances and resolutions in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed, to the ex- tent of such conflict. $k3GTZ03.
