AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3508 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, as amended by ordinances
passed by the Board of Commissioners, relating to the law depart-
ment.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 3508 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, as amended by ordinances passed by

the Board of Commissioners on June 21, 1945, March 4, 1947 and
August 16, 1949, relating to the law department, be and the same
is hereby further amended to read as follows:
"SEC. 3508. COMPENSATION. The compensation of the
officers in the law department shall be such as may be fixed
by the Board of Commissioners, not to exceed the amounts

stated as follows:
Per Annum.
City Attorney 76-0.00
2 Assistant City Attorneys (each) 5280.00
One Assistant City Attorney . . . 4440.00
Such compensation shall be paid monthly."
SECTION 2. Ih the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of Salt Lake City
that this ordinance shall take effect immediately.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take - r t upon it=
first publication.
