Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake Citr'y,, tah. SECTION I. That Section 606 of Chapter 8 of the Revised ] Ordinances'.Of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1920, relating to electrical inspeC,ti+on, be and the same is hereby amended to Lead as follows; SEC. 606. PENMITS. All persons who desire to have electric light or power, wiring, fixtures, appliances or ap- paratus installed in or on any building (e.acept power houses and sub-stations belonging to electric light or street railway companies operating under a franchise granted by Salt Lake City), shall secure a permit from the bureau of mechanical inspection. Permits for the installation of electric wiring; i power,fixtures, appliances or apparatus, shall only be issued to a licensed electrical contractor, having an established place of business in Salt Lake City, which shall be stated ir . • II the application for such permit. • It shall be unlawful for any person to do any elec-j Ij tric wiring or other electrical installation under any permit except regular aaa bona fide el.) ayes of the licensed elec- j trical contractor na'..ed in such permit. • It shall be unlawful for any licensed electrical contractor to secure or aid in securing any permit for any • person who is not licensed, or to permit the use of any per- mit by any person other than the one u_:ned le. such permit.
