AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2215 of the revised Ordi-
nances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, as amended by an ordinance
passed by the Board of Commissioners on may 24, 1944, relating
to city treasurer.
De it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. Tnat Section,2215 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, as amended' by an ordinance passed by the
Board of Commissioners on May 24, 1944, relating to city treasurer,
he and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
SEC. 2215. APPOINTMENTS. DEPUTIES, CLERKS, ASSISTANTS. The
Board of Commissioners may appoint and employ one deputy treasur-
er at a salary not exceeding 3360.00 per annum, and such other
assistants, clerks and employees as may be necessary for the
proper conduct of said office, at such salaries as the board
may designate.
The deputy treasurer shall,before assuning the duties of
A his office, take and subscribe the constitutional oath of office,
p and shall furnish a bond to the city in the sum of not less
than $10,000.00, conditioned upon the faithful performance of
his duties and the proper accounting of all funds and moneys
coming into his hands under his control.
The board of Commissioners may require any employee of the
treasurer's office to give bond in such amount as it may desig-
nate.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of COmLmissioners,
