be amended to read as follows:
The ealaries and compensation or the officers and members of
the fire department shall be as follows:

that any person who shall have satisraetorily served at least one
year in the department at any time within three years prior to his
re-employment, shall commence at 7:70.02 per month, with an advance o8
5.00 per month for each three months service until the maximum of
80.00 be reached. The above Salaries shall be paid in equal
instalments out of the City Treasury at the end of each and every mad
month.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts or ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take efrect upon approval.
