AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION ',1-11-2 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, 195, relating to zoning and fixing the boundaries
of Use Districts.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah.
SECTION 1 . That Section >1-11-2 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to zoning and fixing the boundaries of
the Use Districts, be, and the same hereby is, amended by adding in and
to said section two (2) new paragraphs to be known as Items 3 and 4,
as follows:
"ITEM 3. The following described real property in Residential
"R-6" classification, as shown on the Use District Map, is hereby changed
to Industrial "M-1" classification and the Use Map is hereby amended and
changed accordingly:
Commencing at the southwest corner of 17th South Street
and 2nd West Street,running thence west 759' along the
south line of 17th South Street; thence south 250';
thence east 759' to the west line of 2nd West Street;
thence north 250' along the west line of 2nd West
Street to the point of beginning, the above property
being a part of the north half of Block 8, 5 Acre plat
'A', Big Field Survey."
That said Use District Map is hereby changed and altered to show
the above described tract of land as part of Industrial "M-1" District
Classification.
"ITEM 4. The following described real property in Residential "R-2"
and Business "B-3" Districts, as shown on the Use District Map, is hereby
changed to Industrial "M-1" Classification and the Use Map is hereby
amended and changed accordingly:

"Beginning at the southwest corner of Redwood Road and
21st South Street, thence south 56.12 feet; thence west
7,150 feet, more or less, to the West City Limit line,
thence north 56.12 feet to the south line of 21st South
Street; thence east along the south line of 21st South
Street 7, 150 feet, more or less, to the point of be-
ginning, being a part of Sections 21 and 22, T.1 S.,
R.l W., S.L.B. & M."
That said Use District Map is hereby changed and altered to show
the above described tract of land as part of Industrial "M-l" District
Classification.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it is
necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt
Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 2nd day of June , 1959.
