AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF ANDREW AVENUE BETWEEN EMERY
STREETAND 11TH WEST STREET.
BeIs it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That a portion of Andrew Avenue between Emery Street
and lhth West Street, more particularly described as follows, be, and
the same hereby is, vacated and declared no longer to be public
property for use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian way:
Beginning at the most southwest corner of Lot 37,
Block 2, Utahna Subdivision, a subdivision of part of
Section 14, T.1 S., R.1 W., Salt Lake Base and Meridian
and running thence North 0° 06' 52" West 63.41 feet; thence
South 89° 55' 56" West 28.3 feet; thence North 0° 06' 52" -
West 33.0 feet; thence South 89° 55' 56" West 259.60 feet;
thence South 0° 06' 52" East 66.0 feet; thence North 89`
55' 56" East 259.60 feet; thence South 0° 06' 52" East
30.4 feet; more or less to the Westerly line of Jordan
River; thence northeasterly along said westerly line
28.5 feet more or less to the point of beginning.
Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing rights of
way and easements of all public utilities of any and every description
now located on, in, under or over the confines of the above described
property, and also subject to the rights of entry thereon for the
purpose of maintaining, altering, repairing, replacing, removing or
reroiting said utilities and all of them.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is
necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt
Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
(SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
