An ordinance amending Section 25 of an ordinance entitled "An ordinance in relation to the Salt Lake City Water Works", approved May 27th, 1897; and repealing all ordinances inconsistent herewith. Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: Section 1. Section 25 of "An ordinance in relation to the Salt Lake City Water Works approvei May 27th, 189 .:! Water meters may be put in at the water taker's expense whenever it is eonsi3ered necessary by the Superintendent of Waterworks; and the same shall be put in by the Superintenient of Waterworks upon the written request of any water taker at such water taker's own expense. ,' '.•' ---.--,:;..;:::'; .:::.ole In all cases a deposit shall be required as now provided by ordinance. Consumers shall keep all meters upon their premises from freezing, and the surroundings clear and clean. Section 3. All ordinances and resolutions of the City Council conflicting with the provisions of this ordinance, especially an ordinance approved September 24th, 1900, entitled "An ordinance • _5_ amending an ordinance in relation to the Salt Lake City Water worker approved May 27th, 1897, are hereby repealed.
