An ordinance amending Section 836 Revised. Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, as amendei by an ordinance passed by the
Board of Commissioners February 3, 1919, relating to salaries
of officers in the law department.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION I. That Section 836, Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, 1913, as amended by an ordinance passed by the
Board of Commissioners February 3, 1919, relating to salaries
in the law department, be, and the same is hereby amended so as
to read as follows:
Section 836. COLITEN3kTION. The compensation
of the officers in the law department shall be such as may
be fixed by the Board of Commissioners, not to exceed the
amounts stated as follows: The City Attorney, 44200.00
per annum; one assistant city attorney, 43000.00 per annum;
one assistant city attorney, . 2600.00 per annum, one
assistant city attorney, 32400.00 per annum. Such
compensation shall be paid monthly.
SECTION II. In the opinion of the Board of Com-
missioners it is necessary to the peace, health and safety
of the City that this ordinance beconw effective immediately.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon publication.
