AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4601 of the Revised 01.uiiianees
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, as amended by an ordinance passed by the
Board or Commissioners of Sait° Lake City, Utah, on July 5, 1944, re-
lating to the police department..
Be it ordained by the Board ofCormnissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 4601 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, as amended by an ordinance passed by the
Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, on July 5, 1944, re-
lating to the police department, be and the same is hereby amended
to read as follows:
''SEC. 4601. ORGANIZATION AND SALARIES. The Police Depart-
ment of Salt Lake City shall consist of the following officers,
whose annual salaries shall be as fixed by the hoard of Commis-
sioners, within the limit specified:
Not to exceed.
Chief or Police, who shall be head of
the Police Department $5220.00
Inspector 3480.00
4 Captains 3060.00
1 Superintendent of Record 2760.00
