AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 20-2-80 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to the license fees for soft drink
sales.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 20-2-80 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to the license fees for soft drink
sales, be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 20-2-80. Fees. The license fees required for
the sale of soft drinks referred to in Section 20-2-79 of
this chapter shall be as follows:
"(a) For dispensing such soft drinks in original
containers, $5.00 per year;
"(b) For dispensing such soft drinks in the orig-
inal containers from a vending machine, or for the priv-
ilege of maintaining a vending machine exposed to the
public where soft drinks may be purchased by depositing
a coin in such machine, $5.00 per year;
"(c) For dispensing soft drinks from a dispenser
which dispenses no more than five (5) drinks from pre-
measured contents, $5.00 per year for each dispenser;
"(d) For dispensing soft drinks by means of a soda
fountain or dispenser which dispenses more than five (5)
drinks or which dispenses drinks by other means than pre-
measured contents, $25.00 per year;
"(e) All such licenses shall expire one (1) year
from date of issue."
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 3rd day of July, 1963.
